Job Purpose and primary objectives:As a Lead for Stores Consulting, you will be an expert in your domain within Retail, being the go-to person for the latest market trends and technology innovations. You are expected to design and deliver major transformation programs that can involve designing new services and operating models, building business cases and the subsequent change programs, undertaking whole system/service evaluations or delivering across complex, multi-partner implementations.We are seeking to strengthen our team with people who can successfully lead delivery teams and add value to the performance of our business. We expect Business Consulting Partners to develop strong relationships with clients, partners, staff, and associates, and to be great at leveraging the company’s experience, expertise, and eco-system to deliver solutions for clients.You will build and lead the Store Operations Business Consulting team within TCS’ Retail Business Consulting Services Unit. Reporting to the Lead Partner for Retail Business Consulting, you will support new and existing retail clients in their Store Operations transformation needs.Key responsibilities:In your role as a Lead for Stores Consulting, you will be at the leading edge of the business transformation in your respective domain/technology area. Core responsibilities will include:Supporting the development of new opportunities with new and existing clients and markets.Own and deliver the revenue targets for the consulting business for stores portfolio.Developing new propositions that enable clients to meet future challenges which further develop the companies’ vision to become a strategic partner/advisor to the client.Build and scale a high-performing retail consulting team for the stores portfolio.Lead, mentor, and develop consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise.Promote diversity and inclusion within the team, ensuring a range of perspectives and ideas are represented.Using existing networks and connections to contribute to growth of the future revenue and sales pipeline.Delivering high value strategic advisory programs to clients.Conducting service reviews, system redesign, and process improvement projects as required to deliver client objectives.Supporting clients in defining, developing, and delivering their strategy through all stages of implementation, including developing business cases and roadmaps for transformation.Leading project delivery, budget, profitability, and scope; recognizing and managing risks and issues.Encouraging others to demonstrate innovative solutions and alternative ideas to a variety of problems.Representing TCS to clients and being a role model displaying integrity, innovation, and passion.Keeping yourself up to date with the latest market trends and technology innovations in your domain.Store Operations specific responsibilities:You will support new and existing clients in their transformation requirements. Store Operations specific responsibilities will include:Store administration transformation across store routines such as HR, Price integrity, due diligence; training & capability and store communications.Replenishment optimization, including merchandising execution, warehouse management, shelf replenishment, inventory management, in-store picking of online orders, waste management, and loss prevention.Service transformation, such as customer payments and till optimization, customer service, cash management, product returns, off-till activity, click and collect, and complementary service propositions.Supervisory/Managerial responsibilities:Work with the client partner and delivery owner and co-own success and failure of the engagement. Additional managerial responsibilities will depend on assignment/project requirements.Key Skills & Knowledge:• 15+ years’ experience with a proven ability to deliver store transformation programs in the retail industry.• Knowledge of the market leading operating models, technology, and processes required to run a successful retail business.Additional Skills & Knowledge:• Demonstrated ability in capturing and innovating business processes. $143,200-$197,800 a year#LI-KM1
