We are seeking a Full-Time RN or LPN Infection Preventionist responsible for implementing the facilities infection prevention program. This role will plan, organize and direct the implementation of a system wide infection control and prevention program whose primary goal is to prevent and reduce causes and/or sources of infection in compliance with IPC protocols.

Qualified candidates will be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan. Excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to display leadership through staff education and training.

*Salary:*
* RN: $44.95 / hr - $53.95 / hr
* LPN: $39.70 / hr - $46.20 / hr
* Includes $.85 Wage Pass through until 9.30.25

*Infection Prevention primary responsibilities:*
* Manage, maintain and operationalize the Infection Control & Prevention Program
* Assist with the collection, analysis and reporting of IP Data
* Perform new hire and annual competency testing and evaluations on clinical staff.
* Maintain education records and ensure compliance with standards.
* actively participate in QA meetings.
* consult and communicate with county and state health departments as needed.
* Conduct thorough patient observation and documentation review to identify potential infection risks.
* Mentor and lead nursing staff in infection control measures, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
* Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient safety and care quality.
