Description Auto Rent Chicago is looking to hire a responsible, people-oriented individual to work in our fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, energetic, and adaptable to frequent shifts in direction. You will provide superior, friendly and efficient customer service throughout the rental process. Hours available: Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat 8:00am-3:00pm. Mult-location. Paid training provided. EOE Responsibilities - Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and thank each customer at the conclusion of their transaction
- Verify rental agreement and answer customer questions, providing assistance as needed
- Verify and document all necessary driver information in order to provide and efficient and timely rental and return experience
- Prepare rental agreement files with required documentation
- Resolve any issues in a fair and equitable manner
- Maintain appearance of rental counter and customer area
Requirements - Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills, typing and data entry
- Professional and friendly personality
- Must have 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in rental sales
- Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check/screening
