As a Talent Acquisition Sr. Recruiter at H&R Block, you’ll be responsible for all facets of the recruiting life cycle and function as the strategic subject matter expert in talent acquisition related issues for your assigned client groups. You’ll provide support across various functions, handling recruitment for all requisition levels and ensuring delivery of strong candidate pools for your clients.

Job Duties:
Deliver high quality candidates by creating and implementing innovative and effective sourcing and attraction strategies, including the sourcing of passive candidates.
Provide an outstanding, seamless candidate experience by acting as an information resource for our candidates and proactively engaging with them throughout the entire hiring lifecycle.
Influence, facilitate and expedite the selection process by providing consultation and regular communication to hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners.
Lead and participate in recruitment related projects such as new technology implementation, collegiate recruitment programs, diversity partners, recruitment marketing/sourcing tools and special project recruitment efforts.
Share your expertise by providing mentorship and professional leadership to less experienced recruiters on the team. And provide guidance on interview techniques and best practices for hiring managers.
Leverage social media platforms and professional networking channels to enhance our talent acquisition efforts, while incorporating key elements of employer branding to enrich the candidate experience and showcase H&R Block’s unique culture and values.
Lead recruitment strategy/intake discussions to ensure deep understanding of business needs and desired candidate profile while communicating recruitment expectations to the hiring manager and PC Business partners based on your research and knowledge of the talent marketplace.
Report internal metrics to track recruitment effectiveness and compare practices against industry standard.
Conduct compensation analysis, provide guidance and recommendation on employment offers, deliver candidate offers and skillfully negotiate offer details.
Actively partner with our Talent Acquisition (TA) and TA Operations team to deliver optimal experiences for our hiring leaders, candidates, and internal key stakeholders.

Work Experience:
5 or more years of recruitment experience, representing a variety of position levels and functions and career progression.
Demonstrated ability to provide creative and strategic talent acquisition solutions that deliver results.
Ability to influence without authority.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle various facets of the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, employer branding, and metrics tracking.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), customer relationship management (CRM), sourcing tools and job boards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills: active listening, strong verbal and written communication, empathy, and adaptability.
