    Job Details
  • Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
  • Teaches patients and significant others.
  • Documents patient care in the medical record.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
  • MCU is a 1:3-4 ratio, primarily 1:4; ICU is 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity.
  • Need someone with cardiac experience.
  • We take post PCI/ STEMI or other cath lab patients.
    Job Requirements
  • Intermediate or progressive care experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret rhythms and cardiac drips.
  • Experience with radial and groin PCI access and bleed management - REQUIRED.
  • Experience with temp pacing - REQUIRED.

  • Certifications - certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain.
  • License - OR license doesn't need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain.
    Schedule Information
  • ICU AND PCU or ICU AND IMCU experience. They will be expected to work on both units - REQUIRED.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Open ICU with a Tele-intensivist.
    Additional Details
  • COVID vaccination - no longer required
  • 16 hours unbillable 1.25x OT
  • Cancellation policy - 4 shifts per 13 weeks
  • Hospital Benefit: They have an in-house Nurse Practitioner in Employee Health Department that sees only employees and their dependents.
