Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks an engaging pediatric experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work 5 days/week with school-age students in one location in Philadelphia, PA 19138 through the remainder of this school year and ESY session. This is a very collaborative and supportive setting that facilitates achievement with visually impaired students. This caseload has 6.5 hours set hours M-F (block billing). CF's and SLPA's will be considered!

Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist
Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
Case Management may be required
AAC consultation may be required
Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Speech and Language Pathology Program
CCC's
Educational or Instructional Certificate
Current PA state license
Will consider SLPA with 30 semester hours (undergrad) in speech, language, or hearing from an accredited institution of higher education, or evidence of supervised practice as an Assistant since at least June 8, 1989, and completion of State License board supervisor-assistant verification form (all based on PA Eligibility Criteria)
Preferred candidates have experience working with children in the school setting.
