We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heavy machinery and production equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about machinery, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various types of equipment including but not limited to bearings, ballscrews, servo motors, and industrial machinery.
• Conduct regular oil & coolant changes to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
• Carry out necessary repairs and replacements on production equipment and heavy machinery.
• Oversee facility maintenance including fire sprinklers, sprinkler systems, and lighting.
• Ensure safety at all times by adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
• Diagnose and solve issues with electronic components.
• Regularly inspect equipment and machinery to identify any technical issues or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize maintenance and repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends, safety standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and repairing procedures.
• Proficient in working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proven experience with fire sprinklers and sprinkler systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle heavy machinery and work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in industrial maintenance or related field is a plus.
