Qualifications

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field

Experience and/or education must include:

Pattern recognition via automated learning

Heuristic and rule-based pattern recognition

Statistical signal processing and data analysis

Embedded systems design and programming in C or C++

Sensor physics and signal processing

Technical writing and communications

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement algorithms for embedded systems in next generation of input devices

Act as the focal point for hardware and software integration to productize and ship solutions for quality user experience

Model, design, implement, and test algorithms for touch interfaces

Develop calibration procedures, and tune tracking algorithms

Collect and analyze data to optimize sensors across large user bases via geometric analysis and automated learning

Assess user impact of new hardware sensors and technology changes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to root-cause hardware and software issues and mitigate them

Investigate new technologies, and prototype concepts

Document, publish and present new solutions and innovations via keynotes, white-papers, etc.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range

The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 - $198,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
