Opportunity for Diagnostic or Interventional Radiologists in CA

This locum tenens role is open to both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists, located in sunny California!

Highlights

• No call requirements
• Flexible schedule options (Mon-Fri or Wed-Tues)
• Opportunity for remote weekend work

Practice Setting

• Outpatient, 55-bed local community hospital
• Occasional pediatric cases but the patient panel is primarily adults
• Support staff includes backup radiologists

Schedule

• One week every 6-8 weeks
  • Typically Monday-Friday or Wednesday-Tuesday schedule
  • 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. workday
  • Option for remote weekend work

Procedures and Cases

• Basic procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint injections, biopsies (thyroid, FNA, occasional breast)
• Diagnostic imaging, such as CT, ultrasound, X-ray, MRI
• Basic mammograms and diagnostic mammograms

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology
• MQSA certification preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 24 months of experience
• Active California state license
