  • Lutheran Hospital
  • RN / Cardiovascular ICU and Stepdown
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days 5a - 5p, every other weekend, no block scheduling, voluntary call
  • Scope of role: All CVIC nurses rotate between ICU and stepdown
  • Ratio: 2:1 ICU and 4:1 stepdown
  • Skills required: Invasive line monitoring, central lines, ventilators, chest tubes, vasoactive drips, bedside procedures
  • Years of experience needed: 2 years ICU experience, CVIC preferred
  • Floating: required to float to other ICU
  • Dept Scrub color: Navy Blue
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Orientation dates: must start on Monday of pay period, 3/10 or 3/24
    Job Requirements
  • Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
  • Years of experience needed: 2 years ICU experience, CVIC preferred
  • Travelers submitted must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected
  • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility – local candidates not accepted!
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: Days 5a - 5p, every other weekend, no block scheduling, voluntary call
  • RTO blackout dates: no RTO holiday weeks, if not assigned holiday must work day before or day after
  • RTO max: if full week requested off will add to end of contract to equal 13 weeks worked
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Details: Cardiovascular ICU and Stepdown
  • Unit Information: All CVIC nurses rotate between ICU and stepdown
