healthcare, laboratory, private secondary school, public K-12 school, commercial, industrial, government, and historic preservation -- all with a focus on sustainable design.Responsibilities:Design and lead design teams for building HVAC systems, including:Thermal Energy and Distribution – Hot Water, Steam, Chilled WaterFluid System Modeling (w/ Pipe-Pro)Geothermal WellfieldsWater-Source Heat PumpsAir-Source Heat PumpsHeating, Ventilating and Air ConditioningEnergy RecoveryPrecision Temperature and Humidity ControlRadiant Heating and CoolingBuilding Automation and ControlMaster Plan DevelopmentSustainable Design Including Support for Certification – LEED, LBC, PHIUS, WELLStrong written and oral communication skills in client-facing settings.Consider candidates with energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis for buildings and building systems.Qualifications:BSME and 10+ years’ experience in HVAC systems design.PE required for HVAC design positions.PE or CEM required for energy-focused positions.RFS provides an opportunity to work on large-scale, high-profile building projects throughout the Northeast US.
