ROLE SUMMARY:

The Sushi Helper will prepare sushi, rolls and dishes from the sushi bar, and assist Sushi Chefs with preparation. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with a variety of sushi, rolling, plating, and related cooking techniques and has experience working in a busy sushi restaurant. Advanced knife cutting skills are a must. This is a PM position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare raw fish and other sushi ingredients.
• Roll and plate dishes, taking note of individual requests.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Cooking and sushi-making experience.
• Must have knife skills.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have communication, time-management, and organizational abilities.
