Responsibilities:

Corporate Medical Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversite of the Occupational Medical Program for all of National Beef to include; liaison with outside physicians, injury case management both internally and externally. Oversite of medication distribution program

Manage the Random Drug Testing / Last Change Program

Enhance cooperation between Operations, Safety, Nurses and relevant outside medical support

Evaluating the coordination of the medical teams to ensure the success of organization

Ensuring that licenses, certifications and training is up to date for the nursing staff

Assisting in the training and promotion of the nursing staff

Ensuring that the nursing staff comply with all federal and state regulations and codes

Managing the organization’s occupational medical budget

Other duties as assigned

This is an on-site position.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates for the Corporate Medical Director position should possess the following:

Licensed Medical Doctor focused on Occupational Medicine

Excellent management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills

Has run an Occupational Clinic (preferred)

Ability to manage a muti-site medical program
