*Job Title:* Registered Nurse

*Location:* Syracuse, NY 13210
*Shift Timing:* Day & Night (12x3)

*Hours per week:* 36
*Duration: *Contract 22 Weeks



*Responsibilities:*
*Patient Care:* Conduct comprehensive and accurate patient assessments, including vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters.

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill patients.

Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precision and according to physician orders.

Monitor and operate life support systems and medical equipment, such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.

Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions

*Collaboration and Communication:* Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nurses, to provide comprehensive care.

Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates on patient conditions and care plans.

Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and the ICU environment to alleviate anxiety and promote understanding

*Documentation and Compliance:* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting all aspects of patient care.

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of ICU practices.

*Professional Development:* Stay current with advancements in critical care nursing through ongoing education, attending workshops, and obtaining relevant certifications.

Engage in reflective practice and seek feedback to improve nursing practice and patient care



*Requirements:*

· BLS Certificate

· NY Registered Nurse State License

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $52.20 - $57.50 per hour
