_*Qualifications*_

*Education*
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Completion of a Medical Assistant program meeting certification eligibility requirements.

*Licensure/Certification*
* Must hold one of the following certifications:
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – AAMA
* Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – AMT
* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – NHA
* National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) – NCCT
* Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) – AMCA
* Current CPR certification required.

*Experience*
* Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a physician’s office is preferred but not required.

*Skills & Abilities*
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations and familiarity with electronic medical records (preferred).
* Service excellence and clinical quality focus.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
