We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in McAllen, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. With an annual volume of 42,000 patients, this role requires commitment and expertise in emergency medical care. As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), ensuring 36 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage each day. Shifts are 12 hours long, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to perform procedures within the scope of emergency medicine. Accurate and timely maintenance of medical records, as well as compliance with all relevant medical laws, regulations, and policies, are essential aspects of this role. Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine (ABEM / AOBEM)
• Possess a Texas medical license or have the ability to obtain one
