This positioninvolves 24-hour call coverage, which includes inpatient rounding during theday and on-site evening call responsibilities. The physician will care foradult patients, with an average of 11 patients per day. The role includes bothoutpatient and inpatient care, with charting and dictation performed using EMRsystems: eCW for outpatient and Meditech for inpatient. As a Locums OBGYN Physician, you will providecomprehensive care for adult patients, including both routine and emergencyobstetric and gynecological services. Your duties will include performinginpatient rounding during the day and handling on-site evening call coverage.You will also be responsible for managing deliveries, performing gynecologicalsurgeries, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation in both outpatientand inpatient EMR systems (eCW and Meditech). Collaboration with hospital staffand specialists will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care.

Thisrole involves 24-hour call coverage, including inpatient rounding and eveningon-site call. The average patient volume is 11 per day, ensuring a manageableworkload while providing comprehensive care.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Current and valid Virginia State Medical License.
  • Current DEA and CSR certifications.
  • Ability to manage 11 patients per day, with a focus on high-quality care.
  • Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, familiar with eCW and Meditech EMR systems.
