Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and analysis for advanced packaging in a Semiconductor Manufacturing Company based in California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize surface mount technology and assembly processes.
• Design air and liquid cooling systems for electronic components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photonics packages.
• Document and present mechanical design and analysis results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, including expertise in air and liquid cooling systems.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced packaging and surface mount technology, including flip chip, 2.5D, and 3D packaging technologies, such as TSVs.
• Preferred experience with photonics package integration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
