    Job Details
  • Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
  • Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
  • Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
  • Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
    Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of MS experience - Required
  • Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
  • Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA, NIH)
  • Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate)
    Schedule Information
  • Travelers will expect about 6 hours worth of modules to complete prior to start.
  • Logins will typically be provided one week in advance of start date.
  • If modules are completed prior to their initial start date Comanche will compensate them $250.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Comanche Specific Policies: Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back
  • Rebate - This client has a rebate of 1% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates.
  • Orientation - Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays. Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays.
