Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – LDRP Location: Cortez, CO 81321 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 6p-6a Job Description: Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using appropriate nursing procedures. The nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The nurse must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. The nurse must also possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's clinical needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures. The nurse must be clinically competent to care for patients, knowledgeable about disease processes, and be able to identify symptoms and/or signs of complications. The nurse must have the ability to utilize information technologies to meet patient needs and provide evidence-based care to improve health outcomes. Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. • Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire. • Current BLS Certification. • Current PALS certification • Current ACLS certification • Successful completion of EKG course • Unit Specific requirements: • ICU: Minimum of 1 year ICU/ /Inpatient experience preferred. • FBC: Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire. • FBC: NRP certification “We are an equal opportunity employer.
