About The Position

A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. The practice is at a Level III Trauma Center with six Points of Service (POS), including General, Endo, OBGYN, Ortho, Spine, and Robotics.

The daily team includes 23 MDs and 67 CRNAs under a medical direction model. The call schedule is 1 in 4, from home with post-call day off (PCDO), covering one full week per month (Monday to Sunday).

Weekend and holiday coverage is shared equally. The position requires a Delaware license (approx. 6 months) and credentialing (3 months), with a targeted start date of late May to early June.

The role offers a 40-hour week guarantee with 8-hour shifts, though some days may run longer.

This is a unique opportunity to experience the city's exquisite foodie scene while on assignment in Wilmington. You can take a stroll along Market Street, Union Street, and Trolley Square.
