About The Position

Locum tenens pediatricians play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care. As a locum tenens physician with Weatherby Healthcare, you will enjoy the freedom and flexibility of a temporary assignment while maintaining a fulfilling career.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have a medical degree (MD) and be licensed to practice medicine in the state where the assignment is located. Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics is required, as well as current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The daily schedule will typically involve seeing 23-25 patients per day, with a mix of sick visits and well-child check-ups. Outpatient pediatric experience is preferred, but not required. A valid DEA registration is also necessary for this position.
