At LexYard, our newest culinary endeavor, James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Anthony reimagines contemporary American dining through a farm-to-table lens, showcasing exceptional ingredient with a reverence for the local and seasonal. The menu finds its home in a space designed by renowned hospitality studio, AvroJO, where fluted columns and parquet floors nod to the hotel's spectacular Art Deco hertiage.
In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of LexYard, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and overseeing 70 Front of House Team Members.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment. Experience in a Michelin star restaurant and managing a unionized work environment is preferred.
Peacock Alley
Named after the passageway once used by patrons of the original Waldorf Astoria, Peacock Alley returns as a modern evocation of its stories past. Bespoke menus unfold from breakfast to dinner, while libations pay homage to the revered traditions of the world's greatest cocktail bars.
In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Peacock Alley, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and overseeing 30 Front of House Team Members.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment. Experience in a luxurious cocktail environment, strong beverage knowledge and managing a unionized work environment is preferred.
Japanese Dining
Find our Japanese dining through the Park Avenue entrance of the hotel, where an a la cart menu reinterprets traditional Japanese culinary practices through a contemporary lens. A refined Wagashi tea service will be available in the afternoon.
In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Japanese Dining, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager and overseeing 15 Front of House Team Members.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment. Experience in a luxurious cocktail environment, strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and managing a unionized work environment is preferred.
