Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Their services include procurement, design build, modernizations and new construction. Most of their work is done in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Coachella Valley and the Inland Empire. Job Details Responsibilities:
Acquires understanding of the requirements of the project to be estimated
Prepares concise construction estimate per plans and specifications
Communicates with subcontractors and vendors to discuss bid preparation
Site visits to gather essential information
Ensures timely completion of estimates
Resolves discrepancies in plans and specifications
Prepares detailed estimates for review
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience estimating on public works projects preferably with doors and hardware
Understanding of accounting and project management concepts
Deep understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Comfortable with numbers and technology
Excellent knowledge of bid software
Great attention to detail
Well-organized
