- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for scanning
- Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
- Provide accurate explanations and instructions
- Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
- Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan
- Active and current New Jersey State License-NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
- Maintains CEU Credits
- American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree is Applied Science
