Gigi Wine Bar and Bistro is a lively, European-inspired restaurant known for its welcoming atmosphere, fresh oysters, premium steaks, seafood, handcrafted burgers, and expertly paired wines. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a vital role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host to be the face of our restaurant. The ideal candidate understands how a restaurant flows, manages reservations with ease, and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. This position offers great potential for growth within our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and manage seating to ensure smooth restaurant flow.

Handle reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins efficiently.

Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to manage table turns effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.

Assist with answering phones and providing information about the restaurant.

Ensure guests feel welcomed and taken care of from arrival to departure.

Be proactive in resolving any guest concerns or special requests.

Qualifications:

Experience as a host or in a front-of-house restaurant role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
