Get to Know Your Team:
* UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
* Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.
* A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service.
* These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.
* Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities anddemonstrates exceptional patient service skills.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
* Currently ARRT - R and Texas Department of Health Registered
* Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire within 30 days
* One year as a Radiologic technologist
* One year as a mammography technologist
Preferred Job Requirements:
* Preferred mobile mammography experience
* Certified in Mammography, ARRT - M registered preferred
