* UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
Performs radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college
* Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
* Must be ARRT or registry eligible
* Knowledge and ability to operate all radiology/imaging equipment and perform all radiology/imaging/therapeutic procedure
Preferred Job Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 years' recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
