Job Title: Director of Plant OperationsLocation: Rochester, MNPay Range: $165,000-175,000
What's the Job?
Develop and establish plant goals/objectives in the support of company Business Strategy
Delegate functional responsibilities to each department manager to establish and attain goals/objectives
Develop long range plans related to cost reductions, facility improvements, new product production, succession planning, equipment upgrades and quality improvements
Analyze and audit data from departments relative to the site's performance. Counsel department managers on the course of action to improve performance and correct deficiencies
Recommend and submit the overall fixed, operational and capital budgets for the site and administer the approved budget including capital expense requests
Ensure conformance to and support of the company Quality Strategy. Ensure effective implementation of the site Quality SystemsWhat's Needed?Minimum of bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Business discipline
7-10 years managerial experience in several areas of manufacturing and logistics
Experience leading a manufacturing organization within a food, pharmaceutical or consumer company required
In-depth Experience working with the FDA and/or other regulatory agencies required
Full understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory requirements to process design and qualifications
Experience setting and achieving financial targets - fixed, operational and capital budgetsWhat's in it for me?30% Annual Bonus
