Overview:

Our primary patient surgery population are neurosurgeries, general abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomies.

Administers nursing care to an assigned group of patients based on phyiscian's orders and nursing care plan.Collaborates with Registered Nurse to plan patient care.Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties including data collection.Qualifications:

EducationCompletion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.ExperiencePrefer previous hospital experience.Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary.If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance.

Licensure/CertificationCurrent Oklahoma State LPN License or active Multistate LPN License.Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training for duration of employment.
