Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes a plan of care.Performs therapy programs utilizing standard speech therapy techniques as appropriate for the age and disability of the patient.Documents delivery of Speech Therapy services.Educates patients, family, caregivers and significant others.

Qualifications:EducationMaster’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

ExperiencePrevious experience in hospital preferred; dysphagia experience preferred; Medicare documentation experience preferred. For Outpatient setting: Experience with outpatients, dysphagia, Vital Stim certification and Medicare documentation preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current Oklahoma license for Speech-Language Pathology or SLP license eligible with a temporary license, or eligible for a temporary license. Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or complete with in the first year under a licensed therapist as a CFY. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
