Our client, a leader in the manufacturing Defense industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Competitive salary based on experience

What's the Job?

• Ensure successful transitioning of new products from product development to production.
• Confer with R&D Engineering, Production/Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Assess manufacturability of products in collaboration with R&D Engineering.
• Participate in design reviews and approval phases to enhance product manufacturability.
• Create and maintain work instructions for production to ensure consistency and quality.

What's Needed?

• Experience in manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100D standards and practices.
• Ability to evaluate tooling or equipment requirements to support production.
• Strong problem-solving skills to support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
• Proficiency in maintaining product Bill of Materials in an ERP system.
