Overview:
We utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. Our nurses maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care. They evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Nurses also ensure that patients' rights are respected and their confidentiality is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' needs and develop a plan of care
- Provide high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and confidentially
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and standards
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where working
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Experience: New or experienced RNs welcome
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
