Preferred Experience

C.N.A Certification or Training, PCT Training, or EMT Training

Minimum 1 year experience in a fast paced healthcare environment.

Enrolled in a nursing program with 1 or more years until graduation.

Departments: Intensive Care Unit

Full Time

Nights

12 hour shifts (Rotating weekends required)

Job Overview

A Patient Care Tech (PCT) provides patient care and other duties under the supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff.

What can you expect to do as a PCT?

Collect and record patient Data, record vital signs and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)

Answer call lights and complete patient rounds

Assist with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.

Taking care of patient personal hygiene and assist with patient clean up.

Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.
