Role is care coordination for patients eligible for autologous stem cell transplant and/or cellular therapy(CAR T). A nurse coordinator is assigned to each patient prior to treatment and helps plan the necessary testing and treatment needed, provide education to patient and family, communicates plan to clinical and provider teams, collects and documents data in preparation for transplant. The coordinator also develops the transplant schedule. The nurse coordinator is the patient's primary contact prior to transplant.
