NORC partners with government, corporate, and nonprofit clients around the world to conduct survey research that informs critical decisions facing society.NORC Field Data Collectors, internally known as field interviewers, play a significant role in collecting the data that drives our research.The Ideal Candidate for Field Data CollectorAvailable to work a flexible, part-time schedule. Has field interviewing, sales, hospitality, marketing, financial, real estate, tax preparation, teaching, or customer service experience.Willing to work a flexible schedule of 15 – 25 hours per week.Flexible availability to work a mix of weekdays, and evenings/weekends often to reach people who are not home during the work week.Must be able to use a NORC-provided tablet and applications for tasks such as sending emails and capturing notes about work completed.Must attend all virtual and in-person training sessions.Have ability to travel for 3 day in-person training sessions located in Greater Chicago, NYC, or Los Angeles area.41

: Much of the work needed for this project is completed from March to June 2025. All field interviewers wishing to continue working on this project to its anticipated end of December 2025 must complete additional training.Because of the temporary nature of field work, these positions are great for students, teachers, real estate agents, tax preparers, retirees, and all others who are looking for flexible work.
