*Job Title:* RN Med/Surg

*Shift Timing:* Night (12x3)

*Hours per week:* 36 Hours Per Week
*Duration:* 13 Weeks of Contract

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.
* Monitor and manage patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and patients to develop individualized care plans.
* Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures.
* Document patient progress, treatments, and any changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
* Educate patients and their families on disease management, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
* Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols.
* Respond effectively to emergencies and deteriorating patient conditions.
* Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers within the unit.
* Support a collaborative and team-oriented environment within the healthcare setting.

*Qualifications & Requirements:*
* *Education:* Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
* *Licensure:* Active and unencumbered *Registered Nurse (RN)* license in New York .
* *Certifications:* Basic Life Support (BLS)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
