**Director, Technical Program Management (CORE)**

We are seeking a skilled Director of Technical Program Management to lead programs that deliver critical business goals and build large-scale products & platforms.

About the team: As a Director of TPM on Capital One's Enterprise product & platform organization, you will have strong technical aptitude, experience driving large-scale enterprise initiatives in data management and engineering, and the ability to influence leaders and cross-functional teams.

You will work to pave the way for expanding TPM discipline within the team, leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience working in data engineering, data analytics, and data governance.
• Strong technical backgrounds with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle.
• Hands-on data analytics experience building reports and KPIs.
• Experience building and leading a world-class team of technical program managers.
• Lead technology-focused discussions with senior leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Data Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
• 5+ years of experience with data analytics or machine learning.
• 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services and architecture (AWS).
• 5+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery.
• 5+ years years experience delivering large and complex programs.
• 5+ years of experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment.
• Masters Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
• 5+ years in a multi-cloud environment.
