Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) leads floor staff and supports the General Manager in daily operations. This hands-on role involves team coaching, managing schedules, recruiting, and ensuring safety and efficiency. The AGM helps maintain budget targets, financial systems, and adherence to company policies while fostering a positive, solution-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead floor operations and maintain service quality
• Support team development through coaching and performance reviews
• Oversee recruitment, training, and scheduling
• Assist with financial management, including P&L, COGS, and labor costs
• Ensure health and safety compliance
• Maintain restaurant ambiance and cleanliness
• Foster guest relationships and manage guest needs
• Assist in managing operational systems (payroll, inventory, purchasing)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in hospitality, with strong kitchen experience
• Strong leadership, financial, and communication skills
• Proficient in POS technology, financial statements, and operational systems
• Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Physical Demands:

• Stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 45 lbs
• Work with kitchen equipment and cleaning solutions
