Dietitian Nutritionist II at Sodexo summary:

As a Dietitian Nutritionist II, you will provide expert nutritional care primarily for outpatient adult transplant clinic patients at OU Health Systems. Your role involves conducting comprehensive nutritional evaluations, providing diet counseling, and collaborating with the transplant care team to ensure effective communication and support. Sodexo is seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at OU Health Systems. Primary patient population includes outpatient adult transplant clinic patients. OUMC is a large teaching facility located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position will work full time with execellent benefits.

  • Have ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and use good judgment to make decisions and work within a self-directed team oriented work environment
  • Position will be primarily responsible for covering outpatient transplant clinic including occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups including transplant care team
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Have effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities
  • Possess great education and training skills to provide nutrition information to a wide variety of audiences
  • Licensed in Oklahoma

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
