CT Technologist - 36 hours at Emerson Hospital summary:

As a CT Technologist at Emerson Hospital, you will contribute to the expansion of our CT Scan department by using computed tomography to produce diagnostic images. This role requires a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with at least one year of experience in CT, along with necessary certifications and skills in IV and medical terminology. Job Summary: Reporting to the Section Leader of CT, uses computed tomography to produce images that assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Experience: One or more years' experience as a CT Technologist preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification: Current registration as an R.T.(R)(ARRT). Current advanced CT registration or within one year of hire. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills: Must have IV skills and proficiency and knowledge of iodinated contrast media according to ACR guidelines.Must possess a high level of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology. Must be proficient at performing a variety of diagnostic CT scans. Must be computer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
