Waste Connections is looking to hire a Traffic Management Flagger to join our team in Vancouver WA.
The starting rate of pay is $26.00/HR
The schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday 8 am-4:30 pm
Responsibilities Include:
This is a safety-sensitive position
Spotting and helping to direct customers and work trucks to appropriate dump sites.
Traffic management - moving signs and cones
Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
General site cleanup as needed
Friendly customer service
Requirements:
At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a labor type position.
The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Experience operating equipment is a plus
Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Exposed to different weather year round.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 to 75 + pounds.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, skid steer and forklift safety.
Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
