Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Hardware Engineer for a start-up company in Saratoga, CA. The Hardware Engineer will be instrumental in delivering high-quality and power-efficient products utilizing cutting-edge Serdes technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive hardware specifications and test plans.
• Utilize Cadence/Allegro for schematic capture.
• Collaborate with ASIC teams for hardware bring-up.
• Debug hardware issues using analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electronic or computer engineering; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in system-level development, preferably in the server, computer, or network industries.
• Proficient in 100G+ Ethernet and high-speed SerDes interfaces (56/112/224G) with a solid understanding of high-speed design and signal integrity.
• Expert experience in board systems/PCB.
