Cell Biology Research Associate – Rochester, MN
We are collaborating with a leading company to find a dynamic scientist skilled in virology and molecular cloning to join their team, which focuses on groundbreaking cell, gene, and virus therapies. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of medicine. Responsibilities:
\tThis entry-level role entails conducting experiments under supervision, with potential to develop into an independent scientist.
\tMaintain mammalian cell cultures and isolate primary cells from blood and other tissues.
\tConduct transfections and infections of cell cultures using diverse viral and non-viral vectors.
\tPerform ELISA and cell-based assays.
\tExecute basic cloning and isolate plasmids, RNA, and gDNA.
\tCollaborate with team members to drive cross-functional scientific projects and standardize new techniques.
\tAfter training, conduct experimental research with minimal supervision while working closely with the scientific team.

Requirements:

\tBachelor's degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
\tDemonstrated laboratory experience.
\tExperience in animal cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.
\tAbility to work and learn efficiently.
\tStrong team collaboration skills.

\tExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
