The Alinea Group seeks a full-time Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team. We are passionate about culinary arts, service, and business operations innovation. The ideal candidate for this business team role has extraordinary attention to detail, the ability to manage a growing team, maintains pristine records, problem-solves, and works well with other team members.

• Manage and lead accounting month, quarter, and year-end closes
• Maintain financial records following US GAAP
• Prepare and review financial statement reports for The Alinea Group subsidiaries by required deadlines
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Collaborate and deliver weekly reporting to ownership, chefs, and managers
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

• Bachelor's Degree or higher, major in Accounting preferred
• 5 plus years experience in a professional setting
• High proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced understanding of accounting software (Quickbooks or equivalent)
• Proactive and self-starter attitude
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred
• Dedication to the confidentiality of sensitive information
