Base Salary: $ 100,000-$170,000/year
Job Overview: We are a boutique law firm in West Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1 or more years of experience to join their dynamic litigation practice. The firm specializes in construction, real estate, business, and prevailing wage litigation, representing a diverse range of clients including contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, private owners, and design professionals.
This is not an insurance defense role, and the position offers early responsibility with opportunities for hands-on experience, including depositions, hearings, and trials. What We're Looking For: We do some real estate, but we spend most days with regular clients who we have worked with for many years on a multitude of litigation cases, negotiations, and disputes over money, buildings, public projects large and small (parks, trains, schools, bridges, etc.). If you are willing to learn to be a better litigator on cases like ours, you will love working here.
Responsibilities & Qualifications: - Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience handling motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
- A collaborative, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership with the California State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience; a background in construction or business litigation is a plus.
