Job Description:

Our Los Angeles office is seeking an experienced Senior General Liability (GL) Associate to join our dynamic team and support the Partner in Charge with a growing caseload. This is a high-priority role for a self-motivated attorney with 5-10 years of relevant experience, specializing in premise liability and vehicular cases. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of cases and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills and minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle a wide variety of depositions, including preparation, execution, and follow-up, with limited to no oversight.
• Manage a large caseload of general liability matters, primarily focused on premise liability and vehicular cases, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, and provide strategic case analysis.
• Collaborate with the Partner in Charge and team members to develop case strategies and deliver high-quality client service.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5-10 years of experience in general liability, with a strong emphasis on premise liability and vehicular cases.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage depositions with confidence and professionalism.
• Proven track record of managing a high volume of cases and meeting deadlines effectively.
• Admission to the California Bar (active and in good standing).
• Trial experience is advantageous but not required.
• Experience with aviation-related liability cases is a plus, but not required.

This position is based in the Los Angeles office with a strong preference for candidates located in or willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area.
