Job Opportunity: Associate Litigator - Insurance Defense
We are actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in personal injury defense. Join our growing litigation team and contribute to a variety of cases, including premises liability, restaurant-related claims, automobile, and commercial transportation matters.
As a member of our legal team, you will handle civil suits at both the state and federal levels, working closely with clients to provide tailored strategic litigation services. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil personal injury cases involving general liability and automobile claims
- Handle written discovery, depositions, expert depositions, and case evaluations
- Draft pleadings, motions for summary judgment, and litigation budgets
- Analyze plaintiff medical records for damage assessments
- Research using Lexis, Westlaw, and Trellis
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in insurance defense
- Strong background in civil litigation, including personal injury and automobile liability defense
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Lexis, Westlaw, and Trellis
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of California
