Large law firm is searching for a M & A associate attorney for their NY office. At least five years of experience in corporate and M&A matters . The associate will have the opportunity to work directly with partners on interesting cross-border corporate matters and M&A transactions. The following qualifications are required: - New York (or equivalent US jurisdictions) bar admission; - At least five years' experience in general corporate and corporate transactional work (with a focus on cross-border M&A, greenfield investment and other transactions involving Chinese companies) at a large international law firm or a top Chinese law firm with a significant international practice; - Excellent drafting, analytical, project management and communication skills; - Familiarity with M&A, greenfield investment/economic development project, private equity and general corporate practice; - Mandarin Chinese fluency and English fluency; and - U.S. law degree (J.D. or LL.M.) and PRC law degree or experience working with PRC companies.
salary: $325,000 - $375,000 per year
