Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Busser to join our lunch service team. As a Busser, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area, ensuring the restaurant remains organized, and helping create a positive dining experience for our guests. You’ll work closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service during our busy lunch rush.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently after guests finish their meals, ensuring a timely turnaround for new guests.
• Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming, including wiping down surfaces, restocking utensils, and ensuring condiments and napkins are available.
• Assist with setting up the dining area before the restaurant opens and breaking down at the end of the day.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that guests' needs are met promptly.
• Support the team by refilling water, delivering napkins, and handling additional guest requests as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restrooms and public spaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is upheld throughout the shift.
• Assist with organizing and restocking dining and serving areas (e.g., utensils, trays, cups, etc.).
• Ensure that the restaurant remains tidy and free of clutter, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
• Assist with any additional tasks as needed to support the front-of-house team during high-volume periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or fast-casual environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift or carry trays and items up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in other tasks, such as light cleaning, when needed.
• Availability for lunch shifts, including weekends, is preferred.
